Burgerland, a well-known takeaway restaurant located on Crookes Road in Broomhill, has suddenly closed, shocking many of the locals.

The restaurant has given no official statement of their closure, with their website still showing their opening times and encouraging people to order.

Clearing the city’s roads and pavements of fallen leaves has come to an end as Sheffield City Council will soon turn their attention to their grass cutting programme.

the contractors adopted a new strategy which saw areas identified as flooding hotspots due to fallen leaves, cleaned every two weeks during the winter months to help prevent any potential disruption.

Broken down vehicle on motorway

It is reported that a vehicle is broken down at the M18 northbound exit slip at junction J3 (Doncaster).

This has caused closure of lane one and congestion of the motorway.
