Whilst non- essential clothes shops are closed during lockdown, shopping for trendy clothes has never been easier. Whilst on weekly trips to the supermarket, many have been loving the new clothing pieces Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Asda have to offer.

Available at Sheffield Abbeydale Superstore (and other supermarkets surrounding), Tescos clothing ‘F&F’ is available and open until midnight. This makes it extremely accessible to anybody looking to spice up their wardrobe whilst essential food shopping. Asda’s clothing range ‘George’- which is available at Sheffield’s Queen Road and surrounding supermarkets, have dresses from as cheap as £6 with other items of a similar price.

Student Emma Kirsten says: “I was really surprised with the variety and aesthetic that Tesco had to offer. The clothes looked like they were from Zara, a shop I love but isn’t accessible at the moment. I’ll definitely be going back.”

It is clear that many people are enjoying this content on social media with some videos getting up to 40,000 views and lots of interaction. The clothes being sold at supermarkets retail at really affordable prices. “They were cheaper than the high street brands that offer the same style of clothes. Some coats were even on sale” says Emma.
