The largest in-person travel exhibition since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic has concluded its 4-day run in Dubai’s World Trade Centre this week.

Exhibitors from 62 countries and travel professionals from over 100 countries participated in the 28th Arabian Travel Market, the Middle East region’s biggest showcase in tourism, from 16-19 May.

Rounding off the event, Taleb Rifai, Chairman of International Tourism and Investment Conference (ITIC) and former Secretary-General (United Nations World Tourism Organization) said: “Governments must come together. They must work together. There is no sense in any country working on its own anymore.”

The event halls were designed to accommodate 11,000 people at once with Covid restrictions in place.
