John’s Van has been operating since 1981 from a small van near the Student’s Union building in Crookesmoor, Sheffield.
The café is synonymous with Sheffield student life, with John’s Van merchandise being sold inside the Student’s Union, and the iconic silver van featuring on murals around the university.
In January, the company took over the café space in the Arts Tower- an University-owned iconic tower block.
This follows the business’ decision last year to offer late night service on Wednesdays and Saturdays, both popular student nights out.
John’s Van at the Arts Tower Cafe has an all new menu as well as now offering barista coffee.
Jeremy Woolley, the owner, took over the business from his father.
