Open Up Sheffield has returned across two weekends this May, giving the public a chance to explore the City’s creativity.

More than 140 artists in over 90 venues are welcoming individuals to see behind the scenes of their art studios.

Visitors will get the chance to speak directly to artists about their work.

Lizzy Alageswaran, the artist and chair of the event, says Open Up Sheffield is an opportunity to celebrate the City’s originality, while making art more accessible to the public.

Oil artist, Sue Nichol has joined Open Up Sheffield for the first time. She hopes the event will provide significant feedback to inspire her future paintings.

The event aims to give individuals a greater insight into Sheffield’s innovative talents.
