The cast and crew of The Hunger, a new play written by Madeline Farnhill, have made the most of Covid-19 restrictions by rehearsing online over the last few months.
The play will debut on 21 June at DINA Venue in Sheffield, and has been described as ‘a kitchen sink drama meets post-apocalyptic horror’.
The play is unique because it is a female-led cast and crew, and sets out to highlight Northern voices.
Rehearsing for a play online, especially when it will be performed in-person, has its own special challenges.
However, producer, Helen Denning, said that the opportunities for communication and feedback have increased due to Zoom rehearsals.
ShefNews have been given an exclusive sneak peek at one of the scenes in the play.
