Yorkshire Wildlife Park have announced that the Vamps are the third act to be performing at its Wild Live concert in August.
The Vamps will be taking to the stage at Doncaster’s Yorkshire wildlife park 2023 Wild Live festival. This announcement follows the confirmation of both Olly Murs and a Tina Turner tribute act as other acts appearing at the festival.
The CEO of the park, John Minion, said: “We are thrilled to announce that The Vamps will be joining our spectacular set-list alongside Olly Murs and the amazing Tina Turner tribute act. These events are a massive highlight of the year and we are confident it will be the best line-up the park has seen so far!
“After having a record-breaking number of visitors to the park in 2022, we are eager to make these events bigger and better.”
The Vamps consisting of members Brad, James, Connor and Tristan will stop off at the park during their ‘Greatest Hits World Tour’ which is celebrating ten years and five albums for the Vamps.
Their performance will include several of their most popular hits including ‘All Night’, ‘Somebody to you’ and ‘Wild Heart’.
The festival has become a celebrated feature of summer for the park, showcasing an array of stars over the last few years including Pixie Lott, Rebecca Ferguson and Ronan Keating.
Tickets for the concert will go on sale for £30 on the 27th February, the ticket doesn’t include entrance to the park but concert-goers will be able to buy discounted entry tickets.
The announcement comes after band member James Mcvey announced that he cannot speak and may have to have surgery so will not be singing for the next three weeks of the tour.
The park confirmed that all performers get the chance to get up close and personal with the animals should they wish too when they’re not rehearsing.
