The cost of living crisis has affected families up and down the country, with some only being able to afford the bare necessities.
Maria Jugg, 49, who used to have a house in Cumbria, had no choice but to sell her house and live in her camper van when her utility bills got too high in January 2023.
She now lives in various camping sites in and around Sheffield, but has travelled as far as the highlands of Scotland to Plymouth and Somerset. However, with fuel costs also on the rise, it doesn’t prove cost effective.
I interviewed her to see how living in a camper van is, and how the cost of living crisis still affects her, even when not living in a house. Watch below for more.
