The Students’ Union at the University of Sheffield has been voted as the best in the UK for the sixth year in a row.
The title was awarded by WhatUni which uses votes from students themselves, through reviews and surveys.
The SU offers more than 330 societies and nearly 60 sports clubs as well as the popular venue Foundry, that holds student club nights, gigs and arts events.
It is also home to a range of shops, cafes, restaurants and even its own cinema where students can take a break from their studying.
SU President Liam Hand said: “There’s a lot of ways in which you can not just survive, but thrive in Sheffield and the Students’ Union is a massive hub for that.”
