The Eurovision Party celebrated the city’s long-held connections with Ukraine and its people.
Sheffield City Council organised this event on Devonshire Green in partnership with the BBC.
Sheffield incorporated Ukrainian culture into the celebrations by playing host to Marina Krutь, who came second in the competition to be this year’s Ukrainian entry with 33,000 votes and has travelled over from Ukraine, especially to perform in Sheffield.
Pysanka, the traditional Ukrainian Easter egg, and other cultural symbols were featured at stalls at the event.
Roksolana Rohozhynska, President of Sheffield Ukrainian Society, said: “We really appreciate that today we have these amazing workshops here in Sheffield. Thanks so much for the Sheffield community as well for coming and trying this.”
