Popular Thai restaurant ‘Thaikhun Street’ opened their second all-you-can-eat buffet destination in the UK last Friday at Meadowhall.

The buffet menu offers customers a spread of authentic Thai food from curries to rice and noodle dishes all inspired by original recipes from the streets of Bangkok.

The restaurant promises a range of vegan and vegetarian options with a buffet menu that will change daily to ensure customers try a new dish each time they visit. They also offer customers bottomless soft drinks and their ‘hugely popular’ desert stations.

Customers also have the opportunity to experience making their own Khao Soi Gai soup, from a range of ingredients including chilli, chicken, coriander, and spring onions.

A customer of ‘Thaikhun street’ said: “The food is delicious, the staff were lovely and being able to get involved in making my own food added a nice personal element I haven’t experienced before.”

“The kids also loved the desert station, so much variety even for fussy eaters.”

The customer added that the restaurant was decorated “beautifully” and other customers also complimented the food.

Darren Pearce, centre director at Meadowhall, said: “We’re always looking for ways to enhance the experience and offer new things for our visitors, and Thaikhun’s arrival does just that.”

Mr Pearce added: “It’s sure to be a hit with those looking to refuel after a busy day of shopping or making the most of our leisure activities.”

Khun Kim, owner of Thaikhun, said: “Meadowhall is set to be our tenth UK restaurant and only our second all – you – can – eat buffet in the country.”

“We’re passionate about sharing the authenticity of Thai cuisine to our customers in Sheffield.”

“The kids also loved the desert station, so much variety even for fussy eaters.”

Thaikhun will be located opposite Wagamama in The Oasis Dining Quarter. The all-you-can-eat buffet is priced at £19.90 for adults and just £10.95 for children under 11.
