Eat, Treat and Moor is a food and drink festival and will be coming to The Moor, Sheffield this Summer.

It is due to take place over the weekend on 9 August and 10 August 2025.

Lee Appleton, The Moor Centre Manager said: “We do a car show annually, and every car show we bolt something on so it’s even better than the previous year and doesn’t become stale.

“We want to do something similar with our food festival and make it an annual event within our calendar that we can sort of refine and finesse to attract more and more people each year.”

This year there will be food and drink stalls, live music and an exhibitors tent for different businesses to come and show off the food they prepare.

It will be run by The Moor in Sheffield to promote the businesses in the area.

Nicole Wilkinson, Moor administrator, said: “We are keen on promoting, helping and boosting things for people in Sheffield.

“We’re bringing in local artists, as you see buskers, picking them up and offering them a chance to have a spot on the mall and play music for 40 minutes.

“Pretty much every busker that did come on and do a slot asked if we were doing it again this year and if they could come back, so that’s always a good sign that we’re doing well.”

The Moor offers £50 per 40 minute performance for buskers.

Mr Appleton said: “Last year was really fun, the buskers particularly enjoyed it because it gave them a captive audience and weren’t reliant on having to earn money because we were paying for their time, I think they got the most out of it.”

The event began last year for the first time but experienced various challenges such as ongoing protests and good weather which dissuaded some from shopping.

Mr Appleton said: “We felt that the name Eat, Treat and Moor played into what we wanted to achieve: Eat, treat customers and you’re actually on the Moor, so it resonates.

“We wanted it to tie back to the Moor itself and then the objectives, eat and treat, so we felt it was quite fitting.”
