Weston Park’s annual May Fayre returned on Sunday for a day filled with exciting events, activities and food stalls.

The free-to-attend Fayre saw a range of attractions and performances, including Dr Phantasma’s magic act and circus performer Abi Collins.

The Fayre is part of a twenty-year collaboration with the University of Sheffield and Sheffield City Council to bring the community together.

Charities and businesses were able to showcase their organisations with interactive stalls, quizzes and item giveaways.

Star Wars fans also had the chance to take photos with their favourite characters who were greeting guests around the Park.

Professor Vanessa Toulmin, Director of City, Culture and Public Engagement at the University of Sheffield, said in a statement for the University: “The longevity of this beloved event demonstrates our deep commitment to Sheffield, and together with our regional partners, we are proud to cultivate a richer cultural experience for the entire South Yorkshire community.”
