Juliet Florals is hosting a professional flower arranging session on February 15th for women in Dinnington.

The class will be lead by Michelle Stringer, an industry professional florist, and is aimed at those who are looking for unique plans surrounding Valentines Day.

The workshop’s organiser, Aleisha Juliet Bradley, said: “It is a great way to bond with other girls and spend time with them.

“It is going to be a beautiful event and will definitely brighten people’s spirits if they are feeling a bit low or spending Valentines Day alone.”

The session is a collaboration between Juliet Florals and Thornberry Café and Deli, where the class will be held.

The café is based at Thornberry animal sanctuary on Todwick Road.

The workshop offers a way for individuals to meet others in a calm setting whilst supporting local businesses.

The event will celebrate ‘girls coming together’ and is going to be a positive experience for friends to enjoy. It aims to leave women feeling ‘loved’ and ‘seen.’

A range of flowers will be available and attendees are allowed to keep the bouquet they make. The event is open to all women regardless of relationship status.

Aleisha Juliet Bradley, who originally started flower-arranging as a hobby, said: “It is a bit of a dream that my small business is going to be part of a collaboration like this.

“The feeling of being able to give someone flowers is amazing as it makes their day.

“We never know what people may be going through in their daily lives so the thought of being able to give someone flowers can be such a special thing for someone who is going through a bad time.

“I know for a fact that if someone invited me to a ‘Galentines Day’ event when my first relationship ended, I would feel so happy.”
