Street Art Sheffield’s ‘Best New Mural’ winner, Emma Barnsley, was one of over 60 artists selected to paint lion and lioness sculptures for the Pride of Yorkshire Art Trail.

Miss Barnsley’s beautiful mural can be found in Greenhill, S8 7BP, and many utility boxes she painted can also be found in the S8 area.

The trail celebrates Sheffield’s Children’s Hospital Charity’s 150th anniversary and follows in the footsteps of the Bears of Sheffield (2021), which Miss Barnsley also worked on, and the Herd of Sheffield (2016)

150 lions and lionesses are being painted by the artists, alongside 150 lion cubs, painted and adopted by schools and community groups across South Yorkshire, to raise £2.8 million for the cause.
