An International Women’s Day comedy event was hosted this weekend, raising money for YWCA Yorkshire, a charity that provides services to women, children, and families.
The event celebrated seven women comedians and aimed to break the stigma around women in comedy, showing they can be just as funny as men.
The event also helped raise awareness and money for YWCA, a Yorkshire charity that Nicole Scott works with.
Miss Scott said: “We support vulnerable women and vulnerable families, we provide accommodation to teenage mums.”
She continued: “We support people with a bespoke range of needs, including parenting, cooking, managing on a budget, but also domestic abuse and safeguarding.”
