The Sheffield Sustainable Market spotlighted local makers in a single use plastic-free event last Saturday April 25.
The event ran from 11am to 4pm at Victoria Hall on Norfolk Street, and featured live music, food and drink, and countless stalls with sustainable items.
Visitors could purchase anything from jewellery to ceramic goods, skin care products, clothing, handmade woodwork and more.
Mr Greg Hewitt, 37, chair of Sheffield Action on Plastic, said: “We’re not asking everyone to be completely plastic-free.
“If you can make the simple swaps as individuals, […] we can make a collective difference together.”
Sheffield Action on Plastic has been running for almost three years now, focused on educating people about small changes that can make a big difference.
