The annual event Open Up Artists’ Studios returned this month for its 28th anniversary.
The festival saw more than 140 artists from over 90 studios open their doors to the public, with creators from a range of disciplines coming together across Sheffield and South Yorkshire.
Co-founder Kate Jacob runs the event, which started as a means for up-and-coming talent to exhibit their work in a comfortable environment without an expensive show at a gallery.
The cultural impact of the exhibition can be seen at venues such as the Kiln Yard, Trafalgar Studios and Butcher Works Gallery.
With the rise of AI art sweeping the world, it is as important as ever to recognise the effort put into human art.
