A festival which spotlights artwork from artists with autism and learning difficulties, has been extended to South Yorkshire for the first time.

Artworks Together Festival Producer, Gemma Woffinden, said: “It is about reducing barriers to people engaging with the arts.”

The festival has been running for three years and has now come to Sheffield with an exhibition and workshops at Millennium Gallery, family workshops at Cambridge Street Collective and an installation at Sheffield Train Station.

Artworks is non-profit creative arts organisation which is hoping to provide a platform for and showcase the talents of adult artists with autism and learning difficulties from all around the world.
