The Open up art event has contributed to Sheffield’s cultural vibrancy for over 25 years and has been inviting the public into artists studios over the past two weekends in May.
This Sheffield event is one of the largest open studio events outside of London, with open studios in Walkley, Pitsmoor and many more areas.
This annual event has allowed artists to connect with the community, share their creative process and showcase original pieces including: paintings, postcards, jewellery.
Visitors also had the opportunity to ask questions and gain inspiration.
This event has also helped newer artists to get involved in the art scene and showcase their workplace without the struggle of committing to an expensive show.
