Two sentenced for Rotherham drug offence involving 20kg of cannabis worth £100k
Dale Banks, 37, Rufford Road, Doncaster, pleaded guilty to Possession of Class B drugs with intent to supply
Emma Wilmot, 30, Bridgewater Way, pleaded guilty to permitting premises to be used for the supply of cannabis.
OIC DC Jennifer Guest from the forces Armed Crime Team said: “I am pleased both defendants pleaded guilty, and I am pleased with the positive outcome. Illegal drugs have a devastating impact on our community and we will not tolerate it in South Yorkshire.”
Chip pan fryer warning after fire in Doncaster
South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue have issued a warning to the public about the dangers of using chip pans.
They have offered advice on safer alternatives.

Rotherham United replace manager after just 24 matches
Rotherham United have sacked Head Coach Leam Richardson after just 24 matches in charge.
Richardson was appointed back in December 2023 and recorded two wins, four draws and eighteen defeats in that time.
The Millers have since appointed Steve Evans as the clubs new manager.
