Police crackdown on violent crime after relentless criminal sentenced
South Yorkshire Police have released a statement vowing to crack down on violent crimes after a man was sentenced to 11 years in prison for carrying a gun around Sheffield.
Hassan Mohammed, 23, of Edward Street, Sheffield, was arrested by police in January after he was found to be carrying a handgun, ammunition and drugs.

Majority of primary school children in Sheffield allocated first place school
Parents across Sheffield have just discovered what primary school their children have been allocated.
Almost 95% of pupils were allocated into their first place school, with only 32 pupils getting their third preference place.
