The road is closed in both directions around the junction with More Hall Lane due to a road traffic collision.
Police are asking the public to avoid the area.
Man sentenced to over a decade in prison after attacking a woman in her 80s
A 35-year-old man was sentenced earlier today at Sheffield Crown Court after being found guilty of attacking an elderly woman with dementia.
Michael Kidd sexually assaulted and bit the woman, preying on her vulnerability.

A local woman has been jailed for shoplifting and burglary
A 38-year-old woman has been jailed for shoplifting and burglary in the city centre.
Daisy Parker-Barrett, of Wostenholm Road, was sentenced to 26 weeks in prison earlier this week.
Parker-Barrett pleaded guilty to one count of burglary and two theft from shop offences.
