BREAKING: Man re-bailed following death of Adam Johnson

A man who was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter following the death of ice hockey player Adam Johnson in Sheffield, has been re-bailed today until 25 April 2024.

Adam was seriously injured during the Sheffield Steelers and Nottingham Panthers on 28 October and died as a result of a neck injury.

Sheffield man who used Snapchat to lure victim jailed for rape

Sheffield Crown Court heard yesterday how 21-year old Lewis Stacey, of Richmond Hall Road, deceived the young girl through Snapchat messages pretending he was 15.

Lewis Stacey has been jailed for eight and a half years after raping a 12-year old girl in a park in July 2022.

Detective Constable Jason Earl, officer in the case, said: β€œThe young victim very bravely came forward and reported to the police what Stacey had done to her.”
