Tickets have been released for the first food and drink festival held in Graves Park this August.

The event will run across the weekend from August 30th to August 31st.

Visitors can expect a range of independent traders from across South Yorkshire. The park will host a street food arena and many artisan markets from local businesses.

Izaak Shuttleworth, the assistant festival manager, said: “Graves Park is rich in history, culture, and community, so it’s a massive privilege to debut our event there.

“The support we’ve received so far has been incredible, and we’re expecting the community to come together for this one.”

The event is available to people of all ages, and children under five can enter for free.

The festival is also partnered with Sheffield Mind, and have since raised over £127,000 for the charity.

Visitors can expect live stage performances, entertainment and a live cookery theatre as part of the festivities.

The line-up is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

If successful, the event organisers hope to run the festival annually.

Mr Shuttleworth said: “The history and vibrancy of Graves Park means it’d be a massive privilege to return, but we’ll have to wait and see.”

A small section of the park will be closed off during the days of the festival, but the park will still be open to the public.

Litter pickers will be employed across the weekend and bins will be regularly emptied and recycled.

Mr Shuttleworth said: “One of our top priorities is leaving the event site how we found it.”
