Sheffield festival organisers say the festival will return next year, after another successful weekend at Peddler Warehouse.
Last weekend, the Neepsend festival brought together over 100 exceptional beers straight from the brewery teams themself.
This was the festival’s second run, with 2025 being their first year, and it went down a hit. Peddler Warehouse being the home to this festival, creating an industrial setting in the Steel City itself.
The space was filled with the sound of the brilliant Native Sonic Collective. Sax, bongos, keys, creating an electric atmosphere. The event featured 20 independent breweries; the annual festival is the place for beer lovers.
If you want a break from the hops, you’re in the right place. Jordan Roberts, co-founder of Peddlers market said: “It’s a beer festival for everyone, not just for your dad. We’ve got alcohol free beer ‘Zoom’ here, we’ve got a cider bar, we’ve got fermented. All sorts of weird and wonderful. So it really is for everyone.”
Neepsend modernises and keeps beer festivals alive, highlighting the wide variety of beer with Sheffield being just the right place for a craft beer hub.
There was also food, music and creativity, along with a free drink when you arrive before the vote for your favourite beer began.

Tom, from Trig Brewery, said: “The level of engagement and enthusiasm of the drinkers here has really stood apart. The Sheffield crowd obviously really knows their beer. Lots of people want to have conversations about the product, not just come and knock it back.”
Amongst the 100 beers available, there were a few crowd favourites, including the ‘Bjorn’, a peppercorn pale from Liverpudlian brewery Black Lodge.
Chris, the founder of Pastore Brewery, was one of the visiting breweries, bringing along with him a big range of beer.
He said: “We’ve got a big dry-hopped tangerine sour. Quite a unique beer. Nobody else makes beer like it!”
Events like Neepsend are valuable in keeping independent breweries alive and thriving, while also providing the perfect energy for a weekend with friends, families and even your dogs in Sheffield.
