Eleven photography students from Sheffield Hallam University were able to successfully exhibit their work this week after persistent fundraising.
Their exhibition was held at Gloam gallery, on Arundel Street, and displayed unique and individual projects that ‘represented what was at their core’.
The group titled the exhibition ‘OlivePit collective’ to represent how although their pieces all have ‘different styles, themes and meanings’ they all share a common centre, which is a passion for photography, much like how all olives have a pit.
Sparrow Harrison, a student who led the exhibit, said: “It has been so nice to properly display the pieces we have worked so hard on, and it’s motivating to have our work seen and appreciated by a larger group of people.”
