This year will also the introduction of a number of Belgian breweries bringing pop ups across the city, Brewery Vanhonsebrouck (Kasteel beers) will be at The Crow and Timmermans at Hop Hideout.
Prominent Sheffield brewery Abbeydale is celebrating its 30th anniversary, Co-owner Laura Rangeley said: “It’s a privilege to have been part of Sheffield’s beer scene for the past thirty years and Sheffield Beer Week provides a fantastic opportunity to help shine a spotlight on the very best of it – collaboration, community and passion. Look out for Synth City, our special beer brewed to celebrate the occasion!”
Falling upon International Womens Day, March 8th will see a focus upon International Women’s Collaboration Brew Day.
Barnsley based artist Lewey, a freelance artist working solely in the beer industry, has also created a visual map to go alongside the event. He said: “It is one of my favourite beer festivals! So it was nice to be asked to put my hand to branding an event I have loved for so long.”

Speaking on where he drew inspiration, Lewey said: “The fold-out map cover was inspired by The Human League’s 1981 Album Cover for Dare”
