Sheffield has hosted a guided tour around the old pubs and industrial landmarks in Kelham Island to celebrate Beer Week.
The Industrial Heritage Walk on Sunday 5 March was one of numerous events taking place around the city this week.
Dave Pickersgill, 67, the Pub Heritage Officer, began his tour at The Fat Cat pub in Kelham Island and ended at The Wellington.
There were over 20 bookings from residents of Sheffield and nearby towns who came to understand the city’s history.
JC Mitchell, who attended the event, said: “I think a lot of people, especially people who have grown up here, aren’t aware of their own history, and I think it’s really, really interesting.”
The event lasted all afternoon and a great time was had by all.
